About NFA:
The National Forestry Authority (NFA) is a Government agency established
under the National Forestry and Tree Planting Act, 2003 as a corporate body
responsible for sustainable development and management of
Central Forest
Reserves (CFRs) and provision of technical support to stakeholders in the
forest sub-sector.
Job Summary:
The NFA Coordinator Corporate Planning will be charged with ensuring the
development, maintenance and Communication of NFA’s strategic business plans.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Actively coordinate and prepare
business plans for internal and external clients of NFA.
·
Coordinate and prepare Annual
Operating Plan and Budget Framework Papers.
·
Assess and evaluate performance
of strategic, business and operating plans.
·
Compile and send timely
analytical reports using relevant information available.
·
Prepare project proposals in
liaison with relevant internal and external NFA clients.
·
Actively coordinate
implementation of strategic and business plans.
·
Coordinate all business planning
related activities with internal and external clients.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The ideal candidate for the
aforementioned NFA career placement should an Honours Degree in Statistics or
Economics. Possession of a Postgraduate training in Project Planning and
Management will be an added advantage.

At least five (5) years of
experience in Corporate Planning and business development two of which should
have been at middle management level.
·
Possess excellent financial,
business acumen, strategic planning skills as well as
·
Organizational and interpersonal
skills
·
Computer literacy skills i.e.
Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Project experience is
an added advantage.
