Job Purpose/Objective: To supervise the work of Plant
Maintenance Mechanics to achieve the departmental objectives and ensure all
mechanical equipment are operational at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the work of
Plant Maintenance Mechanics in the repair, maintenance and installation of
plant equipment and machinery.
2. Schedule, assign, plan
and monitor the work of subordinates.
3. Plan and develop work
schedules, equipment usage schedules and procedure for equipment and appliance
maintenance.
4. Monitor the acquisition
and use of materials.
5. Assist Mechanical
Engineer in design requirement.
Personal specification:
Higher or Ordinary Diploma
in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates must have at least 2 years experience of
supervising mechanical repair and maintenance in a manufacturing industry.
