Description:
We are looking for Lecturers / Senior Lecturers
in Architecture to contribute to teaching and research in the Faculty of the
Built Environment. Applicants will demonstrate strong interest and achievement
in teaching and research in one or more of: Environmental Design, Sustainable
Architecture or Environmental Systems as well as an ability to initiate,
support and enhance knowledge and skills in design projects. As part of a team,
the appointee(s) will be expected to contribute to the Faculty's research
activities and its interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning. The

responsibilities of the Faculty.

achievement in teaching and research in Structural Engineering or Materials,
and an ability to initiate, support and enhance knowledge and skills in design.
As part of a team, the appointee will be expected to contribute to the
Faculty's research activities and its interdisciplinary approach to teaching
and learning. The appointee(s) will also be expected to participate fully in
the other service responsibilities of the Faculty.
Qualifications
All applicants for a position as Lecturer
should preferably have a minimum of a Professional degree in Architecture,
Landscape Architecture, or Engineering as appropriate. Teaching experience and
a research degree in a specific area is an added advantage. Applicants for a
position of Senior Lecturer should, in addition to the above, have a minimum of
an advanced degree by research, and/or substantial teaching and research
experience.
