About Plan International Project:
TPO Uganda in partnership with PLAN Uganda (and supported by Plan Germany
National Office and the EU) are implementing three year projects on enhancing
livelihoods of vulnerable child headed households and youth empowerment for
sustainable livelihoods in Lira and Alebtong districts, Northern Uganda.
Job Summary:
The Project Officer will be responsible for the coordination of the
implementation of the protection and psychosocial support component of the
“Empowering youth for sustainable livelihoods” project. The jobholder will also
provide project implementation support to the Community Based Trainers (CBTs),
partners and other stakeholders in the project implementation area. The
incumbent will be responsible for program work, coordination and representation;
and program administration.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the
Project Officer vacancy should hold a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Studies,
Social Sciences/ Social Work/Community Development/ Project Management or
related field.
A minimum of two or more years’
experience in program development and management in a busy NGO.
