Ltd BGP Uganda is to conduct 3D seismic acquisition services in block EA•1 and
EA•1A in east Nile as part of a joint Government of Uganda and Total E&P
(operator) Tullow oil operations pty Ltd and CNOOC Uganda limited operations.
BGP is advertising the following positions within the business unit .Below are
the current available roles.
1.Financial
controller(1)'
Location: Kampala
Experience and
Education
·
Masters degree in accounting and finance CPA or
ACCA are added advantage
·
At least five years experience in finance and
accounting at senior level
·
Exposure within oil and gas operating
environment is an added advantage
·
Knowledge of local languages and exposure within
oil and gas
·
operating environment is an added advantage
I L8.HSE supervisor(3)

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Environment,Natural Resources or
equivalen
At-least five years of field environmental related
experience preferably in oil and gas industry
I L9.Senior Vibrator operator
location:
Bachelors degree in mechanic engineering
Experience in operating and repair vibrator machine
minimum of 10 years experience in oil field sector
particularly in 3D seismic
I L 10.Equipment
manager(2)
Location: Field
Education and
Experience
Bachelors degree in mechanic engineering or related
discipline
minimum of three years experience in oil field sector
L 11.Personnel
manager(1)
Location: Field
Education and
experience:
Bachelors degree in business administration,social sciences or arts.
At least five years experience in oil and gas operations
L12.Environmental
divisor (1)
Location: Field
Requirements: Bachelors
Degree in Environment.
Natural Resources or equivalent
At least Three years of field environmental related
experience preferably in oil and gas
facilities
L13.Line surveyors
Location Field
Experience and
Education
Bachelors degree in geophysical surveying
5 years experience in oil and gas operations
4.Paramedics(4)
Location: Field
Experience and
education
Five years experience in emergency response and first aid certificate
of practice from the ministry of health
Experience and
Education
Bachelors degree in geology,engineering or similar
discipline
10 years experience in oil and gas industry particularly in
drilling
5.Airgun vessel
navigator
Location:field
Experience and Education .

Bachelors degree in surveying

10 years experience in seismic working on water
and using airgun vessel

related discipline minimum of three years experience in oil field sector
