Nakasero Hospital Limited (NHL) is a private hospital in Kampala that opened its doors to out-patient treatment in March ol 2009 and in­patient treatment, the same year. The main objective of the hospital is to provide quality medical care to patients and to fill a gap created by lack of adequate medical facilities in the country, forcing medical treatment to be sought outside the region.

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Role: Responsible for generating and developing both inbound and outbound new business opportunities, plan, develop and implement the organization’s marketing strategies and communications as well as organize and implement the organizations public relations activities.
Requirement:

    Bachelor Degree/Master in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent. Must have knowledge in product development with at least six (6) years experience, preferably in the hospital industry with excellent negotiation skills. Should be a pro-active self starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team. Must have outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills. Should superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills. High commercial acumen is required.

The successful candidate will be required to carry-out the following key requirements:

•     Proactively seek out partnership opportunities and establish communication and rapport with those businesses that can benefit from NHL's services
•     Adopt a hands-on approach in monitoring the implementation and execution of marketing programs.
•     Participate fully in expansion programs in as far as identification of appropriate strategic locations and advising management of expansion opportunities.
•     Ensure that the Organization regularly conducts relevant market research and surveys on current and new products/services.
•     Monitor and analyze trends along with financial, technological, socio-economic and demographic factors and prepare market activity reports
•     Develop and recommend pricing strategies for the organization.
