Job Details:

The EI&T Project Manager will lead the EI&T team, overseeing all aspects of the electrical, instrumentation, and telecom installation from start to finish.

Requirements

Ø  University degree or national higher diploma in electrical engineering. 10+ years post-qualification experience in large-scale international electrical and instrumentation construction projects, of which at least 5 years should be in large-scale oil and gas projects.

Ø  Proven track record of successful large-scale El&T project delivery, with contactable references.

Ø  Good contractual knowledge, project controls, estimating, planning, scheduling, and tendering.

Responsibilities

Ø  Deliver preparatory meetings before construction on site begins.

Ø  Oversee the development of the project plans, procurement of materials, and plant & equipment.

Ø  Assess the resource requirement and mobilize labor and supervision following the project plans.

Ø  Ensure that methods of work are up-to-date, and efficient and comply with company and client safety policies and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Ø  Identify and resolve issues on site.

Ø  Ensure construction/installation keeps to budget plan.

Ø  Investigate and account for any deviations from budget man-hours.

Ø  Ensure construction organization is adequate, that staff at all levels understand their role and responsibilities, and that effective delegation occurs.

Ø  Assist with and coordinate the project design and constructability.

Ø  Managing project health and safety with support from the HSE Manager. Prepare technical and financial proposals with the Commercial Manager Maintain project cost control and reporting.

Ø  Prepare and administer subcontracts in conjunction with the project commercial manager and contract administrator.

Ø  Advise the Business Unit Manager as requested on any desirable changes in methods of work or on work practice and control.
