Job Details.
The Construction Manager is responsible for the safe
execution of all of the construction activities to be implemented during the
project, in compliance with the legislated and contractual project procedures,
processes, and specifications.
Requirements
Ø
Electrical trade background preferred.
Ø
10+ years of proven working experience on
large-scale electrical construction projects in a senior role of which at
least 5 years have been on large-scale oil & gas projects.
Ø
Advanced knowledge of construction management
processes, methods and technologies, relevant rules, regulations, and quality
standards.
Ø
Good understanding of commercial issues and
experience in handling contract disputes.
Responsibilities
Ø
Manage the construction implementation in full
compliance with safety, cost, schedule, QA & QC, etc.
Ø
Manage the pre-construction planning,
procurement, and execution strategy.
Ø
Manage the manpower and resources planning and
mobilization allocation. Drive a construction and commissioning-driven project
strategy.
Ø
Manage the QA procedures and QC compliance
during implementation.
Ø
Managing and tracking procurement, especially
long lead time items, as well as bulk materials procurement and timely
delivery.
Ø
Ensure the full implementation of safety procedures.
