Hospital is the oldest Hospital in Uganda having been founded in 1897. It is a
Christian, Missionary founded, Private Not-For-Profit (PNFP) Hospital. It is
categorized as a General Hospital by government, but operationally it is a
referral Hospital. It has offered treatment to tens of thousands of people over
the years. The once Missionary Hospital simple structures, developed into the
present-day 300-bed hospital, spread over 22 acres of land at Namirembe Hill.

Dispensing
and compounding medicines according to prescriptions
Minimum qualifications, experience
and skills required
(a)Diploma
in Pharmacy from a recognized institution; computer literate
(b)Knowledgeable
about simple pharmaceutical production, inventory management and accountability
for resources
(c) At least
(1) year’s relevant working experience and exposure in a Pharmaceutical Medical
setting Must be of a high integrity and observant of the ethical code of
conduct.
(d)Must be
duly registered with Allied Health Professionals Council
(e) At least
25 years of age
