Role overview

Provide technical support for strengthening and improving quality of Maternal, Neonatal and Child health services in Gulu, Kitgum, Amuru and Lamwo districts of Northern Uganda.

Skills, qualifications and experience required

The ideal candidate should have a first degree in Nursing/Midwifery or Obstetrics and Gynecology and community health

The Adviser should also have post graduate qualification in project planning and management, hospital administration or health services management

• Clinical experience of Reproductive health including, Family planning methods, Post Abortion Care, emergency obstetric care, and Neonatal care, maternal and child nutritional practices and immunization

• Experience in quality assurance of MNCH services and in conducting Maternal Death Reviews (Audit) and Criterion Based Audits
