Ministry. Our mission is to be best in class Christian engineering ministry
that transforms lives through sustainable safe water solutions.
The Project Engineer will be providing cost effective designs for
village-sized piped water schemes.
He / she will be performing engineering tasks within the Country Program
following established standards and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct engineering tasks including water hydraulic design calculations,
and development of plans, specifications, and drawings Perform routine field
inspections and site assessments
·
Quickly report on various aspects of work as it relates to assessment,
design, implementation, or follow-up
·
Assemble required permits and reports for government agencies
·
Perform any other duties as requested under the direction of the Senior
Engineer
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The possible job suitors must hold Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering -
Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical are preferred
·
Two or more years’ experience in water and/or waste water engineering -
consulting engineering with specific design experience is preferred
·
The incumbent must have the temperament and energy to be a leader in an
entrepreneurial environment.
·
Possess a valid Driver’s license
·
Advanced skills with computer programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS
Project, EPANET, Google Earth and AutoCAD
·
Excellent verbal and written communications skills (English &
Luo/Luganda/Lusoga)
·
Excellent analytical skills, process design skills and project planning
skills
·
Good understanding of and commitment to the mission of the organization
·

Possess the ability to project confidence but be willing to learn new
design methods
