1. Performing analyses of production, semi products and raw materials.
2. Reviewing and update quality control procedures.
3. Planning, coordinating, and directing quality control programs designed
to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established
standards.
4. Developing and analyzing statistical data and product specifications to
determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability
expectancy of finished product.
5. In liaison with the Quality Control Manager Formulate and maintain
quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures
to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
6. Administering of laboratories including preparing requisitions for
reagents; preparing relevant reports and technical guidance to laboratory
staff.
7. Overseeing sampling of products and semi products.
8. Preparing quality control reports and record keeping.
9. Adhering to the health and safety and QMS guidelines at all times.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelors of Science in Industrial Chemistry or any other related
discipline.
2. Minimum 4years in Quality Control lab in a manufacturing set up in a
related business.
3. Should have sound experience in determination of Protein, Crude Fiber,
Sand Silica, Oil Content, Moisture etc.
4. Experience in operating and handling of instruments such as
Spectrophotometer, Ph Meter, Karl –fischer, Auto Analyzer, Visco meter etc. is desirable
5. Knowledge of various laws, regulations, guidelines, procedures affecting
a manufacturing organization.
6. Knowledge of ISO Standards is desirable
SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES REQUIRED
Should have a positive attitude, self-driven, flexible, results focused,
effective communication, professionalism, creative, innovative, work for long
hours and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
S/He should have effective report writing, communication and good customer
care skills
