1. PROJECTS ENGINEER.
Organizational Profile
The Company is currently implementing various Construction Projects in
different parts of Uganda. We have an opening for an experienced and competent
Projects Engineer. The following will comprise key duties and responsibilities
among others.
• Supervising and overseeing the operations of various site technical staff
assigned to projects.
• Liaising with the Project Consultants on all technical matters to ensure
successful implementation of projects.
• Ensuring that materials used on projects conform to high quality
standards and specification.
• Ensuring that the company quality policy is strictly adhered to and
projects are completed within agreed project work schedules.
• Ensuring that the company safety policy is fully enforced on all sites.
• Ensuring that company plant and Equipment are maintained for successful
project implementation.
Qualifications / Other Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil) Honours.
At least 5 years of practical and hands on experience gained from large
construction organizations, involved in implementation of projects valued at US
Dollars 1million and above. Computer skills in Microsoft word, Excel, Power
Point, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Arch Card, Prokon are a must.
A valid Driving Permit.
2. ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Responsible for:
• Taking Site Measurements and preparation of Interim Payment Certificates
• Costing Bills of Quantities
• Preparation of Works Programmes
• Preparation of tender documents
• Preparation of Purchasing Schedules
• Any other related duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
·
An ordinary Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering from a recognized
Institution.
·
At least 5 years hands on experience gained from large organizations
involved in implementation of big projects.
·
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD are
essential.
