HAG is seeking individuals with the following qualifications for a one year project.

Organizational Profile:

 Health Rights Action Group (HAG) is a civil society organ­ization dedicated to promoting the Health and Human Rights of people living with or affected by diseases, in particular HIV/AIDS. HAG works with PLHIV, young people both in school and out of school to promote sexual, reproductive health rights and responsibilities with the aim of bringing about improved and better lives and reducing HIV/AIDS infection.

Job Purpose:

The M & E shall lead all M&E activities and initiatives for the organization including monitoring data Quality, tracking the progress of activities. This is a full time position.

Key areas of responsibility:

·             Lead M&E system and process development, creating a framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities with a key focus on participatory methods.

·             Define and implement the key project performance indicators (KPI) as well as monitor them throughout the duration of the project.

·             Propose strategies to increase data use and demand amongst project staff.

·             Assist Program staff in clarifying project information needs.

·             Support project/program staff on ways to properly document, organize and capture program progress.

·             Create and revise tools and data collection procedures in consultation with the project team

·             Review the performance of existing management information systems to help and develop a strong data base.

·             Assist Program Development and management in establishing log frames; M&E work plans, and targets throughout project implementation.

·             Review and analyze monthly reports from program officers to identify the causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation and to enhance quality of reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:-

University degree in Statistics, Economics, Management, Development Studies or other relevant field.

Postgraduate qualifications in M&E is a requirement.

Mode of application:
