The Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) is seeking talented, experienced and highly competitive

individuals for the Finance and Administration Manager position at the national broadcaster.

Job Description :             

•Establish accounting policies and systems consistent with statutory requirements and professional accounting standards.

•Prepare and publish annual accounts for UBC.

• Provide the Managing Director and other appropriate levels of management with timely and relevant financial information for the effective planning and control of the Corporation.

• Ensure that appropriate financial and management accounting systems are implemented throughout the Corporation using the maintenance of effective systems and procedures.

Key Requirements

•Honours degree preferably in Finance Accounting; Commerce or BBA, BSC Finance/Accounting, Economics or Statistics.

•Must have full professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA and must be a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.

•Must have good knowledge of computerized accounting packages.

•At least five (5) years experience in the field of accounting with a busy working environment, three (3) of which having been gained at senior management level.
