qualified and interested persons for the position of Deputy Medical
Director-Clinical Services.
Job Description :
(a) Deputizes the Medical Director in providing overall leadership to the
Hospital
(b) Oversees the planning and overall functioning of medical services at
the Hospital
(c) Heads and supervises the Medical Division including clinics, wards,
outpatient departments, theatres, investigative departments and specialist
clinics
(d) Ensures maintenance of professional ethics, efficiency, discipline by
all Clinical staff
Experience : 10 (Years)
Functional Area : Medical/Healthcare
Skill Set :
(a) Must be a qualified, experienced and senior Medical Doctor holding
M.B.CH.B Degree, with a relevant post graduate qualification including M.MED,
M. Public Health and M. Health Services Managementetc. from a recognized
university
(b) Must have at least ten (10) years’ working experiencein clinical
practice, with managerial experience of Health services (or of a Health
facility) at a senior management level.
(c) Must have good leadership skills including communication and
interpersonal skills, assertive with ability to direct, control, coach and
develop clinical staff
(d) Must be registered and licensed by the Uganda Medical and Dental
Practitioners Council Age: A balanced, mature and dynamicpersonality of at
least 40 years.
