Position Description:
The ideal candidate will need to have Civil Engineering background and
practicing AutoCAD and Civil 3D operator. Familiarity with road design. road maintenance
and construction supervision of new Feeder Roads is a plus. Not only should the
candidate be an efficient CAD Operator but also needs to be hands-on in Civil
3D.
The candidate must have knowledge with Road Geometry Design (Plan, Profile,
Super-elevation. Horizontal, Vertical Curves, Passing Sight Distance, Stopping
Sight Distance and etc.), Structural Drafting and Detailing. The candidate will
have experience in ACAD drafting of new as well as rehabilitation of existing
roads, and be comfortable in a dynamic multiple project environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Prepares ACAD Drafting and Detailing of various Feeder and Trunk Road
Design
•Able to generate earthwork quantities with the aid of ACAD/Civii 3D
software
•Coordinate with Road Design Engineer and Senior Road Designer/CAD Engineer
on all activities relating to Design
Essential Qualifications:
•Proven skills in ACAD and Civil 3D application
•The ability to communicate ideas strongly and clearly
•Ability to work with minimal supervision; time management skills.
•Ability to schedule, manage and supervise multiple drafting activities.
•Experience working in international work environments.
•Team player and hard worker who will put on all efforts to finish the job.
Desirable Qualifications:
•Good working knowledge of Roads and Bridge Designs
•Plenty of experience in ACAD/Civil 3D drafting is required
Education Requirements:
A recognized degree in Engineering
Years of Experience:
Minimum 3 years of postgraduate experience in drafting and roadway
construction.
Level of English required:
Level three (good working knowledge)
