Position Title:Nursery Head

Brief Company Profile:
Our client is a leading, mixed day and boarding primary and nursery school
that has been in the industry for over 10 years now. With over 1200 pupils, the
school offers the Uganda curriculum and runs a rich co-curricular program
designed to guarantee broad based growth for the pupils. This recruitment is in
a bid to better strategically position the school and ready it for the
challenges ahead.
Responsibilities
1. You will be responsible for drawing up the termly teaching timetable in
consultation with the Deputy Headteacher Academics and Director of Studies.
2. Supervise the class teachers, subject teachers in relation to time
management and teaching and learning activities.
3. Drawing up and forwarding requisitions for the section.
4. Calling and chairing of section meetings.
5. Ensuring discipline and smartness of both learners and teachers in the
section
6. Organizing of events like graduations, Christmas parties for the nursery
section in consultation with the administrative committee.
7. Advises head teacher in maters pertaining to the running of the section
8. Organizes refresher courses and training programs for the teachers
9. Initiates communication ties between the parents and the various stake
holders.
10. Signs off on all assessment report cards for the children.
11. Writes termly reports about the state of the section.
