Position Title:  Managing Director
Organisation: National  Social  Security  Fund  (NSSF)
Duty Station:  Kampala

Key Responsibilities

·             Provide  overall  business  strategic  leadership  and execution  to achieve  sustainable  growth  and profitability  of  the  Fund.
·             Plays  a  leading  role in  coordinating  and  communicating  all  business  activities
·             Directs  the  Funds  management  of  financial  and operations  systems, procedures  and  controls
·             Provides  strategic  direction  on new investment , business  opportunities  and  initiatives  over  the  long  run;
·             Advises  the Board  on  business  plans  and  operational  issues  and  communicates  and lead implementation  of the  Board’s  decision
Person Specifications
·             High  level  of  strategic and  leadership  abilities , confident  and  capable  of leading  and developing  teams  of experienced professionals
·             Strong  organizational  and  time  management  skills
·             High  level of  change  and  transformation  skills
·             Provide  track  record of delivering  results in  an  organization  of a  comparable  size , scope  and  complexity
·             Strong  knowledge  and  hands  on experience  of financial  products , including mutual funds  , hedge funds , derivatives  , swaps  and other  structured  products
·             Familiarity with the  current  global  and  local  regulatory environment for  investment  funds  as well  as a  demonstrated  ability  to keep  on top  of developments  in the pension  sector  globally;
