Background
Information:
Finance SACCO is a Savings and Credit Cooperative, Reg no
8049/RCS member owned, controlled and used institution located on ground floor of
Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
The board of directors committee is seeking to recruit a
highly motivated, dynamic, talented and skilled individual for the following
position.
CREDIT OFFICER
Reports to:
General Manager
• Age : 28 – 35 Years
Duties:
• Appraisal of all loan clients
• Ensure strict and stringent loan recovery
• Management of client data and entering it into deductions
pay roll
• Compliance with reporting standards
• Relationship banking on Loan portfolio clientele
• Coordination of all loan related meetings
• Secretariat for loans/credit committee and finance
committee
• Any other duties as might be assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
• A honors Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business
Administration, Accounting & Finance, Economics.
• Post graduate Diploma in Financial Management or Business Administration.
• Professional qualification ACCA/ CPA completion of level 2
might be of added advantage
Others include: -
Knowledge of computer skills
- Experience in use of any banking software
- Good marketing and analytical skills
Experience:
• Four years experience in credit management in a recognized
financial institution.
