motivated persons to fill the position listed;
Job Title: Job files
Auditor
Reports to;
Financial Controller
Location: Head
Office ,Kampala
JOB PURPOSE
• Review Job File records in the company's financial system against physical
documents (files) to ensure that they are accurate and complete
Verify all costs incurred on each job file to ensure that they are correct and have
been billed to relevant parties as appropriate and applicable.
• Liaise
with all operations and section heads and accounts staff to ensure that any
discrepancies noted during job file audit are resolved in a timely manner
• Prepare
monthly lists of un reconciled file records and ensure Heads reconcile un
invoiced files on time. month end adjustments (accruals and prepayments) on job
file accounts to facilitate accurate and timely preparation of periodic financial
statements of accounts
• Make
monthly reports of gross profit! Indicating reasons for any variations.
• Close all
complete files in the system using the IT programme provided and sign off on
all physical files closed.
Provide sound advice to Management on effectiveness and
relevance of controls
QUALIFICATIONS&
SKillS
• Minimum
of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Computing,
Statistics, Economics or equivalent
• A bias in
accounting and or auditing is an added advantage.
• Basic
knowledge in the clearing and forwarding industry is an added advantage.
• Computer
skills in financial systems
Experience:
• 2- 5 years in relevant field
