Engineer

An International Consultancy firm is seeking to recruit a
dynamic, skilled and motivated
person with enthusiasm to perform beyond work expectations
to fill the position of Highway Engineer
Main Job Tasks
• To assist in the management and delivery of highways
schemes ( mainly large Road schemes) including budgeting and resourcing
• To provide Professional and Technical Excellence in
highway engineering
• To provide technical assistance and training to less
experienced staff
• To prepare designs, reports, specifications and other
deliverables for highways schemes.
• To allocate tasks to other members of the Highways Team
and monitor progress.
• To monitor the designs and deliverables produced to ensure
they meet the design briefs set by clients
• To ensure designs and deliverables are appropriate and
meet the expected levels of technical excellence.
• To seek innovation in the delivery of schemes and
techniques used to design and construct them.
• To ensure the internal company quality system is actively
applied to all highways schemes.
The ideal candidate
for the position should have;
• A graduate degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized
institution and/or other additional qualifications related to the job
• Good interpersonal skills and computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently
• At least seven to eight years of relevant experience in
similar position.
• Post graduate and Professional Registration will be an
added advantage.
