An ideal candidate
should know how to: maintain heat and steam levels in boilers; operate controls
and observe gauges to regulate heat and steam, install burners and auxiliary
equipment; shovel coal / coke into the firebox using hand tools.
Requirement:
Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or
any other related field; certificate in boiler operation from a recognized
institution will be an added advantage; at least 2 years of work experiences
maintenance and operation of steam boilers and chillers in a busy manufacturing
environment.
