Applications are invited
from suitably qualified Ugandans for the following posts which exist in the
Public Service of Tororo
Municipal Council
Application forms Public
Service Form No. 3 (Revised 2008) to be submitted in triplicate are obtainable
from the Secretaries
District Service Commissions
or Public Service Commission, Kampala. Applications must bear the title of the
post as well as
the reference number specified
against the vacancy. Serving officers must route their applications through
their Heads
of Department who should be
informed of the closing date to avoid delay. Three (3) photocopies of
certificates together with
other relevant documents and
three (3) colour recent passport size photographs must be attached to the
applications. In all cases, qualified women and persons with disabilities
areencouraged to apply.
(i) Qualifications
EITHER a Diploma in
Procurement and Supplies Chain
Management or Diploma in
Business Studies / Administration
with a bias in Procurement
and Supplies Management from a
recognized awarding
Institution.
OR a pre-professional
qualification in Supply Chain Management
discipline obtained from a
recognized awarding institution.

Key Functions
i. Storing procurement
records and information on suppliers;
ii. Receiving and attending
to inquiries from bidders and
suppliers;
iii. Distributing bidding
documents and notices;
iv. Notifying bidders on the
outcome of the bidding process;
v. Facilitating and managing
the bidding process;
vi. Receiving and
registering bids; and
vii. Adverting tenders.
