science and Post Harvest handling. These roles would be ideal for someone who

in terms of operations.
The
Managerial and/or Supervisory positions will be responsible for the following
key duties:
ü Hands-on, day-to-day management of staff in
the production and/or in the packing;
ü Implementing
and Maintaining preventative Maintenance schedules;
ü Ensuring
processes and procedures are adhered to;
ü Overseeing
the Implementation of Total Quality Management.
ü Overseeing
the company operations and services to ensure productivity and profitability.
Required skills, experience and attributes
(Qualifications):
• A Degree/Diploma in an Agricultural /
horticultural Science or any other field;
• Previous experience in an agricultural
enterprise, preferably horticulture with an emphasis
on technical, production, Post Harvest, field
services aspects;
• Proven relevant experience of at least 3
years in similar positions; Ugandan experience highly preferred.
• Proven people management, preferably in a
horticultural/ plant/ agricultural environment;
• Proven track record of achieving results in
similar types of activities
• The ability to “troubleshoot” and come up
with solutions to problems,
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Demonstrated high level technical,
analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication, administrative and
managerial skills with the ability to supervise employees.
