PARENT RELATIONS EXECUTIVE (PRE)

We are currently recruiting for the position of PRE for GEMS Cambridge International School – Kampala, scheduled to open its doors in September 2013.


The Post: PARENT RELATIONS EXECUTIVE (PRE)

We are seeking an individual who has a customer-centered philosophy and will develop and maintain open channels of communications with existing and prospective parents and school administration.

    Drive enrolments by promoting the school in the best possible way to new parents. Coordinate school tours for parents and visitors as required.
    Maintain accurate record of all places available at the school; maintain waiting list and manage placement test.
    Manage the maintenance of an accurate database of all new registration, current students and exiting students.
    Assist with the development and the implementation of the school marketing strategy in conjunction with Corporate Marketing.
    Develop communication channels, such as newsletters, and ensure the school parent population is fully aware of schools activities.
    Maintain open lines of communication with existing parents and ensure that their concerns, comp and compliments feedback are handled effectively, efficiently and in a timely manner. Liaise with o school personnel or departments as required.
    Coordinate parent/community events in order to engage parents in school activities and celebrations.
    Update weekly and monthly enrolment reports for Principal and GEMS Corporate Office.

Requirement:

·        A native English speaker with a minimum of two years in a customer focused role.
·        Proficient in the latest computer packages with excellent secretarial, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
·        Bachelors’ degree, preferably in administration and/or marketing.
·        Previous experience in handling studenfradmissions and registration preferred.
·        Knowledge of IBO and English curriculums is of great advantage.
