JOB ADVERT:

The Inter – Religious Council of Uganda (IRCU) is a National Faith
Based Non Governmental Organization. Its current membership comprises
of the Roman Catholic Church in Uganda, The Church of Uganda, the
Uganda Orthodox Church, the Uganda Muslims Supreme Council and the
Seventh Day Adventist Church. Other Religious organizations notably
the Independent Pentecostal, Evangelical churches and Baha’I faith
participate in the implementation of IRCU programmes. IRCU’s Vision is
A divinely peaceful, united, prosperous Uganda where all people enjoy
full health and freedom for the common good:.......


The Council implements a range of programmes namely: HIV/AIDS,, Gender
Based violence prevention Peace, Justice and Governance.. IRCU wish to
recruit competent persons to fill the vacant positions as below.


1 JOB TITLTE: Director, Peace, Justice and Governance.
Number of vacancies: one (1)
Reports to: Secretary General.
Responsible for: Manager Inter –Religious Peace Institute and Manager
Justice and Governance

Duty Station:  Kampala with frequent travel to programmed implementing
Faith-Based Organization (FBOs)

Key Role:
To coordinate, provide technical support, manage the programmed team
and contribute in developing thematic issues in IRCU  in line with the
IRCu strategy and other IRCU policies and link the organization with
other internal and external stakeholders.




2 JOB TITLE; Planning and Resource Mobilization Specialist.
  Number of vacancies: one (1)
Reports to: secretary General.

    Duty Station:  Kampala.

Key Role: to develop and Implement a resource mobilization strategy
and related plans of action for all the IRCU programmes as per the
strategic plan.




3 JOB TITLE: Manager –Research Documentation and Strategic Information;
Number of vacancies: one (1)

Reports to: Secretary General.

Responsible for: Programmer Specialist Research and Documentation and
monitoring and Evaluation Specialist(s)
Duty Station: Kampala with frequent travel to program implementing FBOs.

Key Role:  To Lead, supervise, Direct organize, support and empower
the IRCU thematic areas (HIV/AIDS: peace, HR and GG ) with accurate
information in line with IRCU strategic objectives and established
policies to guide decision making



4JOB  TILTE: Programme Manager –Peace, Justice and Governance:
Number of vacancies; one (1)
Report to: Director Peace, Justice and Governance.

Responsible for: Programme Specialist –Justice and Governance, peace
and National Reconciliation and Prevention of Gender Based Violence.

Duty station. Kampala with frequent Travel to programme implementing  FBOs.

Key  Role: To Lead, Supervise ,direct organize ,support and empower
the Justice and Governance programmed teams and partners to develop
and implement effective, efficient and comprehensive trainings/
programs/ activities focused  at the national demands and in line with
the IRCU strategic objectives, mission ,vision, philosophy and
established policies.
