Kulika Uganda (KU) whose mission is to inspire communities,
households, and individuals with self-confidence and provide skills and
knowledge to harness their resources for lasting change economically and
environmentally sustainable in their lives, has secured funding from KOICA and
Samsung through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to implement a
Project entitled “Design for second life Innovations”. The interventions will
be implemented in the Rhino camp and Imvepi refugee settlements in the Terego and Madi–Okollo districts’.
Purpose of the Job
The Project Field Officer shall be responsible for assisting
in the development of appropriate skills, technologies, product promotion, and
innovation for improving the livelihoods of targeted individuals and communities.
The officer will also support the development and implementation of Kulika
Uganda strategies for skills development income generation and livelihood
improvement. He/she will plan, direct, and coordinate these activities and
ensure the growth of group business projects.

• Documentation, Reporting, and knowledge management
• Training of beneficiaries on Basic business skills.
Job Specifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Microfinance, Entrepreneurship, or any other related course
• 3+ years of work experience in project implementation and
management within the NGO sector or a similar sector
• Experience in working with refugee and host communities •
Experience of project development and delivery within short timescales
• Willingness to work in rural areas
