Job Title: Principal Learning
and Development Officer
Reports to: Senior Manager HR

aspirations especially housing.
Job Purpose:
Develop, implement and coordinate Learning and development programs in
line with the Learning and development policy, to achieve the Bank’s corporate
objectives.
Key Result Areas
• Coordinate training programmes based on identified corporate,
departmental and individual needs
• Implement and coordinate training development programmes in line
with approved corporate training and development budget and plan
• Review training and development programmes to suit prevailing trends
in the banking industry and the Bank’s corporate objectives
• Develop and prepare instructional materials, visual aids, and
reference materials in line with the specific program objectives
• Provide administrative and technical support to the bank’s training
activities in line with
the annual training plan
• Evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of training programs in a
timely manner in line with the training plans and policies
• Prepare, produce and submit periodic reports regarding Training data
as and when required in line with the Bank’s annual training plan
• Maintain accurate, organized and up-to-date training records in line
with the Bank’s policies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Human Resources Management, Organisational and
industrial psychology
• Related post graduate qualification is an added advantage
• A minimum of three years’ experience in an Learning and Development
role
• Sound Understanding of new trends in Learning and development and
general HR best practices.
