Job Purpose
The procurement assistant will support the
Procurement and Logistics department to ensure all Procurement and Logistics
decisions are implemented according to the organization set policies and
procedures; and that these decisions are delivered in a timely and efficient
manner to the end-user.
Required Qualifications/knowledge/experience
·
A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics and Supply chain management,
at least an internship in a reputable organization or one year’s experience
·
Procurement Assistant Skills
·
Energetic and willing to learn, successful Procurement Assistants have good
judgment and the ability to interpret policies and procedures.
·
They enjoy analyzing and solving complex problems, and have careful
attention to detail. In addition to these general skills and personality
traits, employers are seeking Procurement Assistant candidates with the
following skills.
Core skills:
