Job Purpose: To
drive growth of insurance business as per set targets and in line with the
Bank’s strategy while managing risk in line with regulatory framework, policies
and procedures.
Housing Finance Bank, a Commercial Bank and the leading

aspirations, seeks professional, competent, experienced and dynamic individuals
to fill the above positions
Key Result Areas:
• Establish and drive the Bancassurance strategy in line
with overall bank’s objectives while ensuring that the IRA and BOU guidelines
on Bancassurance are adhered to.
• Monitor overall performance of the branches as well as
that of specified persons to ensure that the annual targets are achieved and
implement strategies to achieve these targets.
• Ensure compliance to Bancassurance regulations through
reporting and collections.
• Liaise with insurance companies to ensure service level
agreements are adhered to with minimal delays in claims settlement and premium collections.
• Ensure continuous product reviews, craft and develop new
products as well as enhance existing ones depending on the market and customer need
changes as informed by market intelligence.
• Design and implement service experience and carry out
training of specified persons and front office staff to ensure delivery of
exceptional service to customers.
• Continuously monitor and review process flows and ensure
availability and reliability of the systems for seamless agent transactions.
• Ensure renewal of Bancassurance licenses annually as well
as initiate and ensure establishment of a tariff for insurance products.
Qualifications:
• An honors degree in Business Administration, Commerce,
Quantitative Economics and Business Statistics or any other related field from
a recognized University.
• Diploma in Insurance or Insurance related qualification
Experience And
Competences:
• Four (4) years’ experience in insurance in areas of
underwriting, claims, finance or regulation
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills
• Excellent relationship management skills and business
closure techniques
• Proven people, leadership and negotiation skills
• Strong risk analytical skills
