Finance Trust Bank was licensed as a Tier 1 Commercial Bank on 11 rh
November, 2013, taking over the financial services business of Uganda Finance
Trust Limited (MOl). Today Finance Trust Bank is a fully fledged commercial
bank serving a clientele of over 240,000 depositors and over 26,000 borrowers,
through a network of 33 branches country wide. The bank offers a variety of
Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts, Loans, Money
transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which comprises of
micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.
The Purpose of the Job
To manage the credit underwriting process at the branch and ensure that
loans are issued
and disbursed in accordance with the bank policies and procedures.
Key Result Areas
• Closely monitor the performance of the branch’s loans portfolio and
ensure achievement of set asset quality targets.
• Vet credit applications for credit worthiness, validity, correctness and
accuracy of information in line with the credit policy.
• Perfection and safe custody of collaterals and up to-date credit files in
line with the credit policy Perfection and safe custody of line with the credit
policy and procedures.
• Mentor Loan O cers in Credit Analysis.
• Ensure timely follow up of loans in arrears and provide support and
guidance to cr cers in the monitoring and recovery of loans.
• Ensure regular review and up- date of KYC data in the banking system in
line with the credit policy and procedures.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Sales
& Marketing or any other related discipline gained from a reputable university.
• Three (3) years work experience in the position of Credit Officers.
• Good supervisory & leadership skills.
Credit analysis skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good oral & written communication
skills.
• Good integrity track record.
