Position Title:District Internal Auditor (Principal Internal Auditor)
Job Description:
Duties:
• Managing and coordinating District Audit Function;
• Carrying out Special Audit Assignments;
• Facilitating and evaluating Risk management process;
• Producing and submitting Internal Audit reports to relevant authorities
• Evaluating and reviewing Financial Internal Controls;
• Financial auditing executed;
• Audit inspection and Performance Audit carried out;
• Implementation of Audit recommendations carried out;
• Receipt custody and utilisation of financial resources controlled; and
• Financial and operational procedures to ensure value for money facilitated.
Qualifications/Person Specification:
• Honors Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Auditing from a recognised University or Institution plus full
• Professional qualifications in Accounting or Auditing from a recognised awarding institution.
• Full Professional Qualification in Accounting or Auditing from a recognised awarding Institution plus a minimum of a post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management or Auditing or Business Administration from a recognised Institution.
Experience:
• At least six (6) years working experience three (3) of which should have been at the level of Senior Internal Auditor or its equivalent in a public or reputable organisation.

Job Title: District Engineer
Ref: KDSC/WRKS/01/2014
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Description:
Duties:
             Providing technical advise and guidance to stakeholders;
             Preparing technical specifications of contracts;
             Supervising all the technical works in the District;
             Preparing work plans and budgets for the technical works in the District.
             Approving buildings and other structural plans;
             Developing and maintaining water and sanitation systems; and
             Enforcing Engineering and works policies.
Qualifications/Person Specification:
             Should hold an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University or Institution.
             Should also have a Masters in an Engineering discipline.
             Should be a registered Engineer with Uganda Engineers Registration Board (UERB)
Experience:
             At least nine (9) years in a Civil Engineering job, three of which should have been at the level of Principal Engineer (Civil) in Government or equivalent level of experience form a reputable organisation.

Job Description:
Duties:
• Preparing construction plans for civil works;
• Providing technical support to the Communities provided;
• Collecting and compiling data on construction and other civil works; and
• Developing collaborative mechanisms with stakeholders.
Qualifications/Person specification:
• Should hold a Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institution.
