Supply Chain Officer
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties and Responsibilities:
• The primary objective of
the project is to establish and operate a reliable, sustainable commodity
supply chain management system.
• The project aims to
forecast, procure, store, and distribute Ready to Use
• Therapeutic Foods as
well as Supplementary foods to health facilities needed in the management of
malnutrition in persons with HIV/AIDS.
• The Supply Chain officer
will assist in the management of the above supply chain function.
Qualifications:
• A first Degree in
purchasing and supply management or a post graduate qualification in
Procurement and supply and for equivalent combination of education and relevant
work experience.
• Computer literate
• At least 5 years
relevant working experience preferably in an NGO setup.
• Knowledge of USAID and
its contractual and reporting requirements.
• Ability to work
independently and also as a team, to accept and discharge substantial
responsibilities, to prioritize work assignments, to meet deadlines, and to
exercise professional judgment;
• Strong organizational
and prioritization skills required
• Strong negotiation and
analytical skills required
Job Title: Driver – 1 post
Duty Station: Masindi Regional Office, Uganda
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Under the primary
supervision of the Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, the Driver
will provide transport services, administrative and other logistical support to
project staff and other stakeholders at the Masindi Regional Office in line
with RECO Industries Ltd. policies and procedures.
Qualifications and experience:
• UACE or its equivalent,
training in;
• Defensive driving, basic
computer skills;
• Valid Driving License
• Training in basic
financial and logistics management is an added advantage.
• 3-5 years of driving
with Government/NGOS
