Brief Company Profile:
The AIDS Support Organization (TASO) Uganda , an organisation contributing
to a process of preventing HIV infection, restoring hope and improving the
quality of Life of persons, families and communities affected by HIV infection
and disease, requires the services of dedicated, competent, innovative and
results oriented persons for employment on a contract basis for the above
position;
Main Purpose of the Job
To support the pharmacy technician in the pre-packaging and dispensing of
drugs
Key Outputs
· Drugs pre-packed as prescribed
· Pharmacy kept in an orderly manner
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Pre-pack drugs for TASO clients.
· Assist in drug stock taking.
· Organize the pharmacy and its storage area
· Assist in drug storage.
· Assist in maintenance of drug distribution records.
· Assist in dispensing of prescribed drugs to TASO clients and staff
To attract, retain, develop, manage and provide administrative support to
the Human Resources for outstanding performance in line with TASO’s strategic

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS: Nurse Dispenser
Minimum Academic Qualifications:
Diploma in Nursing / Comprehensive Nursing and a Certificate in dispensing
will be added advantage.
Minimum Experience and Exposure:
One year in a Dispensing field.
Special Knowledge
· Basic knowledge in HIV/AIDS Care and Stock management
