Primary Location: Kampala
Purpose of Position: To ensure optimum utilization of plant, raw materials and people, to
produce quality product at minimum cost which meets customer requirements and
complies with legislation.
Background Information:
Rwenzori Bottling Company Limited, a leading water bottling company in
Uganda and a subsidiary of
SABMiller, the second largest brewing group in the
world; and winner of People’s Choice Awards 2011, 2012 and 2013, seeks to
recruit a highly motivated, results oriented and dynamic professional for the
position below:
Key responsibilities:
● Maintain safe, healthy and risk free working environment
● Manage human resources
● Optimize plant and equipment availability
● Manage process performance
● Coach shift teams and facilitate effective team dynamics
● Translate and implement packaging, manufacturing and business strategies
Required Qualifications, Competencies and Attributes:
● Must be a holder of a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical or
Electrical engineering or any other
related
● 5 years’ working experience in a related fi eld with at least 2 years in
a managerial position
● High integrity with excellent report writing skills
● High energy, balanced personality self-discipline and drive,
conceptualizing and innovative thinking, goal orientation and a strong output
bias.
● Proactive mindset, self-driven, self-starter and with initiative; ability
to communicate (verbal and written),
● Computer literacy
● Highly competent in terms of numeracy
● Must be presentable, good communicator, motivated, disciplined and
ambitious
