Brief Company Profile:
Amatheon Agri Uganda is part of Amatheon Agri, a German agri and food group
developing sustainable projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Amatheon Agri Uganda is currently developing a new commercial farming
operation in Northern Uganda for which it will need experienced staff to
support the set up during the first agricultural season.
Amatheon aims to create shareholder value and increased food production
through the development of new large scale agriculture operations, the
application of state-of-the-art farming techniques and vertical integration
across the agricultural value chain.
Amatheon is committed to act in a manner that is socially responsible and
reflects sound environmental management practices.
Scope of work
·
Support in the set up of an
agricultural production from Greenfield Level
·
Support in the Development and
Preparation of currently unused land for farming purposes
·
Support in planting of first
crops in cooperation with local staff and Management
Requirements
·
Extensive agricultural experience
and profound knowledge
·
Very good English speaking skills
·
Excellent machinery knowledge
·
Experience in working in
developing countries
·
Intercultural competence and
interest a must
·
Motivated to train local staff
