Responsibilities:
• Establish, maintain and develop relationships with key client decision
makers to raise profile of KES as a provider of oil & gas field
services
• Maintain effective communications with business managers to ensure that
business growth strategy is developed effectively in the country
• Maintain awareness of market opportunities for KES services to be
introduced
• Pre-qualify KES oil & gas services with clients in Uganda
• Identify operational, importation and investment requirements for
successful business development
• Clear understanding of business strategy from product, pricing and
competitors is a key directive.
• Build on established network of contacts in country,
• KES track record and capability to secure new oil & gas business
and build capacity for future growth
• Carry out market analysis to determine customer needs, competitor
offerings, pricing and trends
• Agree sales goals for the country, coordinate specific sales plans for
promotion of existing services and the introduction of new services, and makes
corresponding follow-up effective.
• Coordinates plan and conducts client seminars, in-house seminars as well
as group studies, and participates in presentations.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The applicant must possess at least a year’s to three years’ oil
& gas experience with some level of upstream field experience in
relevant E&P product and services environment preferably within Uganda.
• Technically qualified to degree level / technical diploma or equivalent
in appropriate scientific, engineering or business discipline
• Preferably those with strong interpersonal skills who want to develop
into sales career
• Demonstrated track record of service delivery and leadership
• Effective communicator in written and verbal English
• Ability to interact effectively with key decision makers within Client
Organization is essential
• Fresh graduates are also welcome
• Possess the ability to interact with all levels of client organization
and to communicate plans effectively and concisely
• Network of relevant industry contacts supporting development in Country
• Ability to act independently and to coordinate several activities
simultaneously
• Excellent planning, organizational of sales and follow- up activities and
project management skills
• Persuasion and negotiation skills
• Highly Innovative and entrepreneurial spirit
• Good presentation skills
• Team player
• Highly Results driven
• Some technical knowledge and experience of oil & gas industry
will be an advantage
• Targets and performance measures to include
• Successful introduction of KES Oil & Gas services within the
country
• Maintain and develop enquiry register / sales pipeline
• Effective management t)f sales and business development activities
including pre-qualification of KES with targeted companies within the company
• Sales revenue
• Support and encourage high Health, Safety and Environmental standard
during sales delivery
