Position Title: Quality of Diagnostics Officer
Organisation: Uganda Integrated Health Program

Job Description:
Quality of Diagnostics Officer supports the Ministry of Health and districts in assessment of laboratory facilities and identification of priorities in order to make recommendations to meet acceptable standards.
Collaborate with MoH and districts in organizing training courses for technicians/technologists working in laboratories.

Establishes a regular supervision schedule and an on-the-job technical coaching strategy to integrate and reinforce MoH and district supervision and monitoring visits to laboratories, while providing on-site coaching.

Liaises with the MoH central laboratory for monitoring and evaluation and certification of training and relevant materials.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in Public Health or other relevant field. Trained and educated laboratory technician/medical technologist.
Extensive experience of performing laboratory analysis.
