Save the Children seeks to fill the following vacant positions and

we implement programmes in six thematic programme areas of Child Protection.
Child Rights Governance, Education, Livelihoods & Food Security, Health,
Nutrition and HIV/AIDS in development and emergency contexts. Save the Children
delivers programs in over 36 districts in the North, Rwenzori. North-Eastern
and Central regions of Uganda, Currently, Save the Children has a staff
complement of over 200 persons. We save children's lives. We fight for their
rights. We help them fulfil their potential. In 2012, we reached more than 100
million children around the world.
Job Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for providing ongoing capacity support and
coordination of the project partners with project planning. implementation,
monitoring & evaluation and reporting. The officer is responsible for
execution of the project interventions both directly and working closely with
implementing partners.
The Senior Officer may be called upon as and when necessary to support the
emergency team in cases of humanitarian crisis.
Academic back ground and Experience;
Minimum of a Degree in Humanities or a relevant discipline. Additional or
post graduate qualification in Early Childhood Care and Development, and Basic
Education is an added advantage
At least 3 years progressive experience in programme development and
management with INGOs.
