TIAN TANG GROUP is one of the largest steel and mattress manufacturing
companies in East Africa. Our current product line, which is growing every year
include; Steel Bars (both TMT and Twisted), Hollow Sections, Mild Steel Plates,
Roofing Sheets, Open Profiles, and in mattress line produce; Standard and Tap
Edged
Mattresses. The plant is located in Kasenge, Mukoko.

knowledge.
We are seeking for successful persons with proven sales background to join
our growing sales and marketing team as Sales Representatives (06).
Key responsibilities
• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current
customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/ market segment
to generate new business for the company products.
• Keep abreast of product applications, market conditions and competitive
activities.
• Determine customer preferences and product development in order to
recommend specific products and solutions to the company.
• Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer
satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
• Monitor competition by gathering current market place information on
pricing, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing products and meeting set
targets.
• Primary sales and technical responsibility for a list of
customers/regions
• Local travel to maintain and develop Local sales
• Provide excellent customer service and technical/application support
• Ensure customer expectations are exceeded
• Gathering, reporting and acting upon competitor and market intelligence
• Have a suitable background in steel and mattress industry.
Key Competencies & Academic qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Sales and Marketing, professional
course will be added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• At least a 2 years experience working in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods
company
• Good interpersonal skills and Computer knowledge
• A team player with ability to work independently
