Background
Information:
Our client, AFRIpads Ltd, is a fast-growing for-profit
social enterprise in Uganda that manufactures
reusable (washable) cloth sanitary pads as a cost-effective
feminine hygiene solution for the millions of women and girls in East Africa. To ensure their continued
growth we seek to employ two strong individuals.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, the SMM oversees
the sales department, manages relationships with customers and partners, and
liaises with CSOs, government, and other
key stakeholders.
He/she manages the sales team, develops and oversees
processes,
plays a leadership
role in financial sustainability through strategic sales and marketing.
Projector Coordinator
Will manage the Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Project
in Lira, a multi-year public-private
partnership (PPP) with Plan Uganda.
The position will be based in Lira and will report to the
Sales Manager.
He/she will work in collaboration with Plan Uganda’s Lira
program unit.
Key responsibilities:
include developing and managing a network of AFRIpads sales agents in Lira and
implementing all
aspects of the partnership.
