▪ An Honors Bachelor Degree in Economics, Statistics, or
Quantitative Economics from a recognized Institution; plus a minimum of a
Postgraduate Diploma in Planning and Management from a recognized.

area of planning in the Public or reputable Organization.
Key Duties of Post
▪ Formulating, developing and coordinating Urban development
strategies, plans and budgets;
▪ Monitoring and evaluating implementation of Urban
development policies, plans and Programmes;
▪ Maintaining information System for the entire
Municipality;
▪ Promoting and supporting activities and programs of the
urban development partners;
▪ Facilitating and guiding lower(Divisional ) local council
planning;
▪ Appraising work plans and budgets andidentifying sources
of funding; and
▪ Producing minutes of Technical PlanningCommittee.
