Background Information:
A leading pharmaceutical distribution company in Uganda with over 6 years experience in the pharmaceutical distribution industry is seeking to recruit;

Post Title 1: Sales and Marketing Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales; market research; competitor analysis and driving the product development process to achieve sales target and profitability
Key responsibilities:
        Create a strategic vision to achieve business sales targets and ensure that company resources are effectively allocated.
        Establishing marketing strategy, objectives and plans to achieve the sales targets and profitability
        Integration of business imperatives with company marketing and brand strategy
        Marketing research, competitor analysis and business development including successful introduction of new products on the Ugandan market
        Expansion of the distribution network in Uganda
        Recruiting and retention of necessary sales and marketing staff. This will include leading, directing, motivating, training and coaching the marketing team
        Regular reporting to the stakeholders and principals
        Establish sales incentives strategies.
        Any other duties and responsibilities as may be deemed fit by the supervisor
Education Requirements:
        A Bachelor's degree in relevant area
        Post graduate training in Sales management or MBA or CIM would be an added advantage
Work Experience:
        At least 5 years Pharmaceutical sales experience at least 2 of which should have been at supervisor level
        Brand or product management and development experience would be an added advantage
Post Title 2: Medical Representatives
The successful candidates will be responsible for growing the Company's sales and market share through scientific and ethical product activities.
Key responsibilities:
        Maximize the company's sales by scientific and ethical product promotion to attain sales targets.
        Identify sales and marketing opportunities in both urban and upcountry markets.

        Implement product marketing strategies and deliver product messages in relation to customer interests and needs.
        Establish and maintain professional relationships with medical professionals
        Keep the company informed on the products; competitor analysis and market trends.
        Support the organization of CMEs and product launches
        Conduct product knowledge training.
Education and other requirements:
        A Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Health Sciences, Biomedical Laboratory Technology Nursing, Marketing, Orthopaedic Medicine, Pharmacy or other relevant area
        Training in sales and marketing; sales negotiations, customer service skills
        1-3 years' experience is an added advantage
        Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
