measure and demonstrate the impact of its work with health providers and
the community.
This is a volunteer assignment under the
Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID) program, an
Australian Government, AusAID initiative. Airfares, living allowances,
accommodation, insurance and other support is provided through the
program.
AMREF aims to close the gap that prevents people
accessing their basic right to health. It does so by fostering vibrant
networks of informed communities, empowered health care providers and
strong health systems.
In Uganda, AMREF is seeking an Australian
Volunteer to guide and advise on the monitoring and evaluation of its
many programs and projects.
Working closely with program staff,
the volunteer will assist with performance frameworks and indicators,
document good practice and help prepare donor reports that demonstrate
measurable change. The volunteer will also work on a comprehensive
information management system that tracks program-wide targets through
data gathered from health facilities and the community.
