Information;
Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited is part of Mehta Group
of Companies and one of the leading producers of Mill White Sugar in the
Country. It’s located at 45 kms on Kampala – Jinja Highway, just within the
vicinity of Lugazi Town Council,
Buikwe District. We are seeking to recruit suitably
qualified persons to fill the following positions.
(1) Post: LEGAL
OFFICER:
• Qualification:
Degree in Law Must be enrolled to practice as an advocate.
• Experience: 3
years working experience with a reputable Law firm or a busy Organisation.
(2) Post :
MAINTENANCE OFFICER- TATA TRUCKS SECTION
• Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engneering or Auto-mobile Engineering.
• Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office will be an added
advantage.
• Experience: A
minimum of 3 years Hand on practical experience in general Maintenance of Tata trucks.
(3) Post:
MAINTENANCE OFFICER - TRACTOR SECTION
Qualification: -
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engneering or Auto mobile Engneering.
• Experience: A
minimum of 3 years Hand on practical experience in general maintenance and
repair of Tractors.
(4) Post: TATA
LORRY DRIVER (20 VACANCIES)
• Qualification:
- A valid driving permit with Classes CM and CH.
• Experience: 5
years experience in the field of transporting Sugar cane.
(5) Posts: CAMECO
OPERATOR, BELL OPERATOR AND TRACTOR DRIVER (CANE TRANSPORT)
• Qualification:
A valid driving permit with Class H.
• Experience: A
minimum of 5 years in the same field of operation.
(6) Post: AUTO
ELECTRICIAN
• Qualification:
Advanced Certificate in motor vehicle wiring.
• Experience: 5
years working experience in the field of motor vehicle wiring.
