Audit Manager
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities are:
- · Responsible for managing key client portfolio and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients
- · Assists the audit partner in establishing audit objectives and overall scope
- · Ensures key matters which arise during the audit which were not identified at the planning stage are properly assessed and dealt with
- · Reviews the work of in-charge accountants.
- · Checks that audit work papers have been properly reviewed and that audit files are completed in a timely manner and are properly filed and maintained on the network
- · Determines that all audit reports reflect the work performed and meet set reporting and auditing standards
- · Finalise draft report to management
- · Follows through on any concerns regarding an audit assignment with the audit partner
- · Adheres to the firms risk management policies and procedures.
- · Plans and co-ordinates all aspects of audit planning responsible for managing audit teams on specific assiqnments, with specific line management responsibility for a group of staff.
- · Manages, motivates and coaches team members and provides feedback through regular communication and timely appraisal whilst being familiar with relevant training and development options
Ideal candidate
should:
have a professional qualification of CPAJACCA
having CISA would be an added advantage for selection have
post qualification experience of at least 5 years in a similar position
have good knowledge of accounting softwares used in Uganda
Receptionist
Location: - Kampala

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities are:
- · Receive and make calls and keep accurate records of the same
- · Receive and direct clients and visitors Book appointments and greet clients
- · Manage incoming and outgoing couriers/mail and incoming client information
- · Assist other admin team members with general office maintenance.
- · Prepare Administrative reports and other correspondence Support the Vision and Values of the Firm by ensuring the demonstration of our Grant Thornton Values and Expectations
Ideal candidate
should:
- · Have Diploma / Degree in Secretarial practice
- · Minimum of 3 year of working experience as a receptionist in professional organization Working knowledge of Microsoft office, ability to quickly learn new office specific software
- · Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative nature, and the ability to work in a cross-team environment
- · Must be well-organized and a team-player
