Job Title: Impact and Learning Manager

Our programmes in Rwanda focus on education, disability and youth.
VSO is looking to recruit a proactive and highly skilled
person as Impact and Learning Manager for its programme in Rwanda to lead on
reporting on our work to DFID; contribute to the development of Monitoring and
Evaluation (M&E) processes for VSO Rwanda; and to define a communications
strategy for VSO Rwanda, that includes online and print communications, and
lead on implementing it.
Key responsibilities include:
- Puts systems in place to ensure comprehensive reporting on the DFID education and disability work
- Leads on collection of data, analysis of data, and reporting on DFID education and disability work Supports programme staff to report to all donors as needed
- Define a communications strategy for VSO Rwanda, which includes online and print communications, and lead on implementing it.
- Leads on VSO Rwanda communications to external parties, including, but not limited to, existing and prospective volunteers, donors, and government and partner organizations.
Qualifications
You will need to have a Degree in a related subject
preferably in project management with significant experience (at least 5 years)
focused on project monitoring and evaluation, ideally in the education sector.
You will have experience in the analysis of complex data, including ability to
use statistical programs. You will have the ability to prioritize and
effectively manage time in order to deliver high quality work on time.
Self-motivated, with attention to detail and pro-active, you
will need strong communication skills (fluency in English is require, French
and Kinyarwanda is an added advantage) with an understanding of the use of
print and online communications to deliver results and new business to an
organisation.
