Job Title: Water Engineer (20 Vacancies)

1. Background
The Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Water and Environment
(MWE) provides funding from the District Water and Sanitation Development Conditional

disbursed to districts as per approved work plans and are expected to be implemented
by functional District Water Offices. The Ministry
however noted that this function is not being adequately
handled as a result of acute staffing gaps in the District Water Offices. The
Ministry has therefore deemed it necessary to second caretakers to water offices
