CREDIT MANAGER, BUSINESS LENDING

The Credit Manager, Business Lending is a key position of FINCA UGANDA’S IL credit operations. This role is designed to ensure proper implementation of the IL credit policy and ensure that credit staff has the capacity to deliver these products in a highly efficient and profitable manner that creates an overall positive customer experience throughout the loan cycle. Will also be responsible for continuous review, improvement and development of product, credit analysis, delinquency management, and credit Staff trainings. DELIVERABLES

•     Implement SME lending profile.
•     Ensure the IL credit policy is up-to-date, understood by all employees, and properly implemented.
•     Develop specific key market growth and outreach strategies and work with the COO (Head of Business), Regional Managers, and Branch Managers to implement.
•     Ensure information from marketing is acted upon to improve product policies and delivery.

Requirement:

•     5 years of relevant experience, 3 of which in banking and credit development focused
•     Strong credit analysis skills and experience
•     Exposure to microfinance
•     Bachelor's Degree in Business, MBA a plus
•     Fluency in English
